Another Doctored Image Submitted By Apple In Apple vs Samsung Case.

Apple vs Samsung Case Another Inaccurate Image http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Apple seem to be desperate and it is showing up in all the wrong places.
First it was different aspect ratios of the Samsung Galaxy Tab that was presented to the German court. Apple obtained a an EU wide ban on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 but it was later lifted.
Now webwereld site finds that Apple submitted a wrong image of Samsung Galaxy S phone, comparing it to iPhone 3G. Both the phones were depicted as similar, but in actuality, Samsung Galaxy S is about 6% larger than the iPhone 3G, Which I just discarded (broken after 3 years).
Apple should have have gone straight if it has real grievances but this sneaky tactics, makes me stay away from all your iPhones.

Apple Wants All Galaxy Tabs Shipped Back From Retailers In EU

Steve Jobs Stabs Samsung Again http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/

Despite the setback Apple received in German court (EU) Samsung Galaxy Tab injunction, Steve Jobs is asking the Dutch court to order Samsung to recall all Galaxy Tablets back from retailers at Samsung's expense. I like to know how Samsung reacts this time.

Now famous Dutch News portal, Webwereld (Webworld) is reporting that Apple has requested that all Galaxy Tab 10.1's to be shipped back to the Netherlands, immediately. Apple also wants Samsung to tell retailers that if they don't return the stock they could be liable for infringing the same patents Apple is suing Samsung for, no matter that Apple altered the images submitted to German court. I wonder what images Apple submitted to the Dutch court.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Injunction Lifted In Europe But Germany.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Injunction http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/

When we first reported about the Apple's claim that Samsung Galaxy Tab and iPad looked alike, we jokingly said that at least Samsung's was longer that Steve Jobs one. But it seems Apple has tried to make Samsung Tab smaller and shorter than actual in the papers presented to the court. In our view, Apple iPad is short and fat while Samsung Galaxy Tab is tall and slim. But we are not lawyers, to them it might look similar. I hope the courts in EU have people with better eyesight.

Today the Webwereld (Webworld, translated) published that the suspension of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been lifted everywhere in Europe but Germany. Hooray!

It is good that at least the lift will remain effective till the hearing on August 25th. I guess now this ad about Samsung Tab can run again!

FOSS Patents also have a article covering the subject and Florian writes about real legal issues and it seems that Apple might get turned into Juice over there.. I truly wish Apple's stupid case get thrown out of the court(s) and world continue as it should be.

Samsung Reacts To EU Injunction On Samsung Galaxy Tab

If these are look alike, At lease Samsung has a longer one than Steve Jobs.

Samsung Reacts To EU Injunction http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/

Finally Samsung has responded to Samsung Galaxy Tab Injunction in EU. I think it is time IBM sue Apple for look like (not alike) PC.

May be time to ship Galaxy Tab to Eastern Europe, Turkey :)

“Samsung is disappointed with the court’s decision and we intend to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world.

The request for injunction was filed with no notice to Samsung, and the order was issued without any hearing or presentation of evidence from Samsung.

We will take all necessary measures to ensure Samsung’s innovative mobile communications devices are available to customers in Europe and around the world.

This decision by the court in Germany in no way influences other legal proceedings filed with the courts in Europe and elsewhere.”
