Brought my Dad's iPad to eat eat with Sim Kuan. iPad is a device which is good for entertainment on-the-go but mostly it's a laziness-inducing device that wastes time. Honestly! Because of all the apps to play with. I'm playing Restaurant Story now. Everytime log in to collect dishes. AHAHHAA! And one more build city one.









Okay talking about cities, Sydney and Melbourne I'm cominggggg. MUAHAHAH. On Friday! HAHAHHA, shitty ungodly, have to wake up at 6am to get to the airport. I really really hate getting forced to wake up before 9.



I know for this holiday Sim Kuan would be going to Beijing and Jin Fye would be going to Thailand.



I tried if I could update blog on iPad. Failure. AHAHAH. Check out my twitter instead. I love travelling, being a tourist. The minute I step out of the airplane I'm going to squeal like a dog out of its cage and snap snap snap photos chi bao bowwww touch everything until it breaks.







Tomorrow, I have to go get some winter clothing right after school. Underestimated the weather. -.- So last minute lolol. I want Zara black aviator-style leather jacket! And some black leggings. Me, forever never wear jeans, forever not my style to wear pants. Cold? Wear skirt with leggings. Done deal.



And have to get camera. Fujifilm. Hohoho. Diana Mini, wait later first lah. Been spending too much lately. :/ But! Vacations are a good time to shop because during that time the holiday mood makes parent's wallet more loose and open-minded! Bwahhaha



Hmm, lomography has a certain charm, it's like looking life through a peephole. When the developed photo comes back it's full of surprises. Candid, spontaneous.



I found the album where I experimented my first lomo cam on Chuckie. It was just my maid and me taking out Chuckie to walk. My God. I remember it was such a routine of my life. Sun setting down? Time to walk Chuckie and Lucian. No more watching Chuckie strut his ass now.



I dunno, they seem to capture the moment more concisely. It's not like digital camera where you take a bunch of photos without much thought knowing you can delete if you don't like.



But of course I still like digital camera. Who knows, I might be the fickle aunty lugging 3 cameras at the same time. One my Samsung digital camera, one fujifilm instax, one lomography camera. AHAHAHHA. But I'd do it, I always bring a camera when I'm going out.



Because photos are precious. Bring us back in time. Create memories to relish when I'm old. But, don't take photos until you forget the point of what you were trying to do.

It's been a long time since I've done nail polish. Mmmmn holidays! I'm revelling it.

And oh yes baby I ate sushi today, yesterday, and the day before yesterday. Where's sushi land? I can gobble up all the sushi in the world~

LOMO CAMERA!

As you may know I have been scouring for lomo cameras. AND DANG! WooOOOOoooOOOo~

I found the cheapest one. It was RM118 but shrunk to RM83 after a good 30% discount. NICE. At Kinokuniya. It was there for quite a while. Sometimes waiting pays off. Saw the same model for about RM130 in inQbox at 1U.

My itchy hands... I had to kiddify and personalize it a bit. What better way to do it than with stickers. But it's probably temporal, like my iPhone decorations. I like dressing up electronic gadgets. And the green thing attached is jelly lens. The effect is fisheye!

The reason I so gladly bought a lomo camera is because my pink camera went kaput. Looked for help in Sony Centre but I knew it was futile the moment they directed me to Customer Service.

Customer Service for spoiled electric gadgets? Most of the time they only placate you with words and proceed to introduce you with new models.

But I shall cherish the fun times we had. Hmph. They told me they don't cater the battery anymore, MODEL TOO OLD. Insult my camera eventhough it's dead!

Nola. Sony is OK. I'm just mourning the occasion of the demise of my dear camera.

But I am still glad to be introduced into the world of lomography!

Lomography camera mostly uses film. The colours are mostly vivid and contrasting. It's a lil' unpredictable therefore each shot is unique. Mine has a bit of vignetting at the corners. It's been years since I've develop any photos. Most of them just stay on facebook.

The difference between lomography and digital photography is like pop music and classical music. Pop- commercial, mass produced and a little lacking of passion. I don't know. With digital camera I can click away blithely while with lomo I'll be more careful with the film I use and find more meaningful things to capture.

I am deliriously excited to develop my first lomo film. Sigh. Like first love.

The weekends

So sleepy I feel like I only have half a brain on. They say sleep helps you remember and dreams are a reenactment of your day. Yesterday was the last FIFA match, some stayed up from midnight but still came to school. Yen Yi, I don't know how you stand it.

Sunday and Monday makes me real tired. Church, Shopping, Dinner, School, Piano. I like them but too much of a good thing is bad.

And I wonder if I would be the first to skip 5 grades in one year and then, the first to fail practical exam. Pfft, piano.

Today a bunch of ppl were sent to Legend Hotel for concert practise(pretty boring. skipping school tomo! Nam was very funny thou). And Jin Fye lost his phone during the last period. :(

Reminded me of when I lost mine(or my bro's, to be more accurate). He brought two handphone but only one was lost. IDK. Ding was in the class for a while so Jin Fye kept asking if he saw it and hinted at how he would strangle the person who'd done it. Ding has a tendency to raise his eyebrows when he's trying to lie or feeling insecure(or so I noticed). But I was too busy doing Physics peka to take note of that. IDK MAN. I don't know.

Again I just hope there are no thieves in the class. I hate people who steal, you know? It's disgusting how they don't think the extent of the consequences from their actions. Worse even if it's a friend, betraying other people's trust.

Anyways. I ate macaroon. From Godiva. Wasn't so expensive considering a box of chocolate there can be way more than RM100. This was just RM 14. Well it looks better than it taste. I need to find the perfect macaroon.


And oh, pillowcase! My Melody. Looks like something a ten-year old would use, but who doesn't love being a ten-year old? Ignorance is bliss.

And oh, Lomo effect by using an iPhone application. The apps are fun. Lomo makes the photo become over-exposed. Sometimes I cringed at people's camwhore pics. I wonder if people cringe at mine? :D

And I think there was something else I wanted to say but my brain is so sleepy... Oh yeah. Eunice got a vision of me. Walking out of the path of light and into the path of darkness then back to the path of light(after some incident). Some other details but I better not divulge it. We were doing this in church. I'm gonna see if it's true. See what gives for chasing my ambitions and whatnot. :)

Prayed last night too, I seldom do, but now I will. If you haven't felt God it's a very hard thing to describe, like trying to describe the smell of your favourite childhood pillow.
