Sunway Lagoon!

Went to Sunway Lagoon yesterday.

10 people went. Ahem. Had some planning difficulties. Was supposed to meet at McD's at 9.30 but everyone(including me) came an hour after that. And then Siet Yen had no transport. xD

Everyone relied on Qi Yao for transport. 8 people in his car on the way back. :D Siet Yen and I shared shotgun. 5 guys squeezed at the back. xD

And then suddenly they were like, "Theng Loo, you steam ah!!!!!" and started squirming around. Turns out it was only his belt. Hahaha, damn sad.

Rode some snake thingy slide. Very dark one. Most of them, you have to sit on a float. And then you have to be careful if you're only wearing knickers style bottoms because you WILL get a wedgie. Serious! xD

I hadn't wear this swimsuit in a looooong time. It takes courage. Honestlyy. And then at night it felt weird wearing a shirt, like a little overdressed. I suppose lingerie models feel like that most of the time.

Looking for a monokini. Why so hard to find one! Most of them have cut outs at the sides. I only want cutout at the middle!

THIS. Was the most horrible ride.

I'd very much prefer roller coaster. This was a boat thing called Pirate's Revenge. My goodness. I didn't know it went 360 degrees. Being suspended mid-air is not nice, at all.

But no, I don't regret trying it! Xian Jiong had a bit of height phobia so didn't dare to ride it. Hahaha.

Wokay. That's all. Computer keeps going, "eeeeee" automatically. -.- So hard to MSN.

What else? Love your body and don't be afraid to try a bikini. :)

Sunday

Xuan came to church with me today. I know 4 people who go by the name "Sean"(well different spellings).

Um. I think this is one of those things which will bring a chain reaction. Xuan will be coming to church with me next week too. :)

Went to eat dim sum at Mandarin Oriental.

Muahahahahaha.

I almost forgot how the toilet looks like.

I think it holds the record for most mirrors in a toilet. All four walls, boom. I like it. I can see so many of me. Though it was creepy to be there alone. Eh, it's also creepy to blog about toilets...

The main point of going to Mandarin Oriental was for the mooncakes really. They're the best, darnest best that I've ever tasted in my mouth. Snow skin pandan om nom nom nom!

Pondered on what book to buy for a long long time. Goodreads.com is good for finding book reviews.

I am sleepy. Ho. Xuan slept around 3 last night, too.

On the way home Mei Yen asked me if I wanted to go Genting. Ooooh, sleepy. Too sleepy to have any more fun.

tata, :)

Movies

Inception. The movie made me like Christopher Nolan even more. Confusing but fine as long as you don't try to grasp minute details.

At the beginning of the movie everyone was settled down, and then I thought the guy in the beginning was using Cantonese. Told Mei Yen. The guy repeated something clearly in japanese. Mei Yen to me: Japanese la, *badword*.

And then we burst into laughter, and the silence of other people made a tension, and the tension made us harder to control our laughs.

This movie was about using dreams to control people's mind, and then Mei Yen said it was controlling my bladder, which was true.

Natalie told me beforehand that if you miss any of it you'll find the movie hard to understand, so I stand and stand the need to relieve.

And then we were running back to the toilet, because the damned exit led us to the car park. And then Mei Yen was also laughing at the urgency of it, and you know laughing makes it even harder to control your bladder.

This was taken in a hurry, like 10 minutes before the movie. Pssh. Went with 8 people but mostly spilt up.

After that it was pretty late. Saw Jin Fye while getting kebab. His sis is going to participate Amazing Race! Wondering if I'll catch her on TV.

Followed to to pool club or something. Or was it snooker? I don't know. Wei Kien and Vincent were there. Didn't realise there was such a club in 1U. A lil stuffy in there. Jin Fye kept trying to take pics of Vincent for the facegoo thingy but repeated failed. Hahaha.

Saw Sim Kuan, Sarah and Yen Yi at Sushi King. 1U Sushi King isn't good, Metro Prima's one way better! Sushi Zanmai is the way to go. But Mei Yen insist on Sushi King. Ate at Zanmai earlier.

OK anyways, haven't seen Sarah in a while, nice to bump into her. Asked Sim Kuan whether she wanted to go 1U but she kept saying "see first". Yen Yi wore makeup, which was surprising because I am a noob with makeup.

And then Vincent Wei Kien Jin Fye came and we were all outside. Took a photo. And then I went home. And it was silly because later we came back again for dinner. Brother was in 1U.

And so when I finally came home I dropped onto the bed. And woke up at 7 plus on a Sunday, which is unheard of.

Mei Yen had accidentially let Chuckie out, and in my stupid dream I kept chasing back Chuckie. And then after Inception you wonder if anyone will do something in your dreams.

Kk, won't bore you with more craps. Gonna go dress for church. I think Xuan was staying up too late yesterday or something. Wanted to go Church with me but said she'll join next week.

Tata!

Family day

I'm not sure why it's called Family Day as there was no family involved. Maybe it means that all the form 4 are like family or something.

We were supposed to come at 11 but it was boring for an hour or so. Waiting for people to come. Did charades.

Went off to McD in the middle of it. Jin Fye made some kick-ass cornflake cookies. Yum. A lot of people lugging DSLRs. I want one too. But technology is always unreliable. Stupid laptop's mouse AND keyboard not working properly.

Walked to McD and it was dang hot. Sweating. Was wearing black and black absorbs heat you know! Usually like white cotton tees but we were gonna get wet later so no. We were black white black white though. See!

Camwhored at the toilet. Hahhahaha. Bought 1 refillable Sprite and 4 person shared one. Damn cheapskate, right? Save money!

Went with Zhi Qi, Jin Fye and Mei Yen.

When we went back we were just in time for the splashing game. The team which loses scissors-paper-stone will get balloons fired at them. Muahahaha. Won 2 out of 3, I think. Backfired once when I throwed a balloon at Kok Leong and it didn't burst. He took my balloon and I tired snatching it back and then poop it goes.

After a few rounds all the balloons were dead and so we used flour. Yucky to get flour in the hair. The floor was also slippery and mixed with water and flour.

Then we had some snacks. I didn't get the freakin pizza. They ordered only 3. I think they earn quite some money , because RM15 for each person and more than 50 were going, so they have like 1k $$$! Good grief, I wonder what did they use it for.

Lastly there were performances. Didn't stay till the end.

And so now I am at home. Lucky those who are going MTV World Stage!

:D

Shopping

Hi. Loaded post.

Was supposed to go to Atiqah's birthday today but something came up. Went din-din with family and Mei Yen instead. Sorry & Happy birthday if you're reading this. :(

Mei Yen wanted to go out badly because after the sitting position changed we've been a bit stressed. Boring lah. And I was going out for dinner so I asked her to follow me. :D

I think we look alike, and it's true that as you spend more time with a person you influence each other. People will believe we're sisters. Same surname somemore!

Mei Yen asked me to camwhore on this on. A mirror in F.O.S. Cheap clothes.

OK, so I was camwhoring inside of the fitting room(to see how the clothes look like). And then I shouted, "Eh, looks nice!" and Mei Yen was in the next cubicle. So she asked me to come out and see.

....AND GUESS WHAT? We picked the same clothes. Hahahahaha deja vu.

And then next we had Starbucks on-the-go. Don't usually drink Starbucks because I hate coffee and such. Mei Yen got iced latte but didn't like hers. I got green tea frappucino. Got it because I saw nigahiga on youtube talking about it(years ago). Said it look like diarrhea but tasted awesome. And it did taste pretty awesome. Except that after a while the sugar or whatever feels too much.

OK, and then in the car Mei Yen couldn't stand her drink so we decided to mix it with mine. No difference.

And yes, ultra vain post but once in a week only! :D I like how the camera lies, how it is forgiving on blemishes and imperfections. So don't trust pictures. ;]

Mei Yen wants me to post this on facebook. Lazy. Maybe later. I don't like posting pictures on facebook because I can't tell the story behind the picture. Though it's fun to tag. I don't know.

And I like that I have a bestfriend. Having a clique is fun, but I always hear about feuds within cliques.

I'm excited to magically print all my blog content into a book. MUAHAHAHA.

Baptism

I'VE DONE IT
!!!!!!!!! :D
Baptism's done.

I don't remember waking up at 6 something this year. Only took 8 minutes to get ready! Spent about an hour waiting before leaving BSD, though.

Sleepy. Slept like a pig on the way home.

Wisma Eagles is big. Got dunk in a pool for a second, then change clothes. Gave short testimony.

It's nice to be "officially" Christian.

Still sleepy, thou. I can't take naps. :( If I do I'd have a 3 hour nap for the least. If that happens it'll be hard for me to sleep at night. MONDAYS. Monday Blues. Bleurgh

Church and haircut

I don't think I'll be updating my blog daily. Why, quality over quantity. And I was busy today. Even after school! Went to supermarket, had piano lesson, and then in the middle of it Theng Loo came to do his assignment thingie and then I went to take the dogs for a run.

Ok I bet you didn't catch any of that. This post will be about Sunday. At least the pictures.

Before haircut. I begged Nat to take me a picture. Because I liked what I was wearing that day and I was gonna get a haircut! People didn't notice, so I went like, 'Oi, I got a haircut!'.

I think the chain reaction thing is going on with my life. Like, borrowing shao yang's book and then I bought a new book and then I'm starting to read novels again. Ok that is not really a prominent development. There are some other examples. Well, try looking for them in your life. :)

IT'S ALL CONNECTED. IN A FREAKY WAY.

PS, PMS and visiting graves

For Sunday I had to go back to Pahang, my dad's hometown to visit the cemetery for Cheng-Ming. My grandfather, my grandmother's brother, my great-grandmother and great-grandfather and my eldest uncle are buried there.

You know I think it would be cool if there was like a backyard family plot. I always imagine haunted castles with a family plot which contains all the dead bodies in the family. Pretty cool!

I did work this year. Took the shovel to shovel out weeds ontop of the grave. Swept. Saw caterpillars, spiders, snails and lizards along the way.

Ok, let me introduce you to what Chinese do on Cheng-Ming. My family are buried, not cremated, so there's much more to do. Mostly it's cleaning the grave and giving offerings in the form of food, incense and papers.
At the end before leaving, the sons/daughters use two coins and ask if the departed is there, and that if he is, give the coins two hits.

Today I had public speaking, second time. And got second place. Lol. My speech was supposed to be longer but I cut it short because I didn't want to be on the stage for long. Showed the picture of anal electrocution. Glad that it is done and over. And now I have experienced public speaking. Public-speaking is nerve-wrecking but it's an invaluable skill(if you have it, I don't)!

Was along other things, tired, sleepy and hungry. Still PMS-ing? GEE. And for the record, PMS stands for Premenstrual syndrome. Includes cravings and mood swings. And don't you girls just hate it when you get irritated and a guy comes up and say, "Oi, what's up with you, having period is it?" Hey boy, you came out because of our periods and you will darn well bear with it!

Anyways, during this time the girl will be extremely irritatable and guys should be understanding, although they probably won't understand what's wrong with the girl. Don't worry, it will go away. If it doesn't it probably means the girl has depression instead.

Ate a bunch of stuff. I hate it. When I want to eat a certain food but I don't get it so I gorge on other food to compensate. I WANT SUSHI!!!! URGHHHHHHHHHH!

And it's 8.30, dinner's not ready. >:O

PMS-ing! DING DING!

1U & Headbands.

Today, went out with my besties to 1U. Supposedly other people were coming, but na-da in the end. Spotted a lot of bestarians. 7 times.

Spotted Shao Yang and King Jiat, again. Saw them at DesaPark before. First word Shao Yang said was, "Facebook-", referring to the "lovely portrait" I've drawn. Of him. He wasn't pleased.

Other people were Adam, Chia Swing, Jck Sng, Charles, and some others. Damn lots.

Faithfully took pics. Nat played piano while Chuckie was sniffing around. Becoming an obssessive blogger. Blogging is nice. Life is worth remembering. Ok that was cheesy.

WE ALL LOVE SUSHI. I like sushi zanmai. Sushi King is OK.

Mei Yen was dissatisfied because her hana-saki wasn't fresh. Can tell by the crispiness of the seaweed. So she asked for the fresh one. I saw the fresh one, I wanted one too. And then Natalie saw us, she asked for one. Hana-saki fever.

Went to MPH. Saw this giant dictionary, screamed at me to take picture. Like kampung people. And then the people at MPH didn't let us take photo. Wonder why. Free publicity on my blog wei!

OK, I HAVE AN IMPORTANT THING TO ANNOUNCE.
I love headbands.

Bought a lot of them. Am not buying anymore! Splurged on the ones at Forever 21. Most were RM7! The ones at accesorize was about RM30-Rm50! Bought some at Deeper Harder. And one more at Roxy. YAY

1U stuff are rigged anyways, because the rental fees are high so the shops have to up their prices.

I didn't notice so many headbands in shops before. I thought it was because of Blair from Gossip Girl. I like.

Headband is gonna be my trademark. I wanted to grow my hair long, but if I do then I have to tie my hair. Headbands are fun. Will suck, though if school have strict regulations for wearing headbands. Bought blacks ones.

That is all. Tired. Had fun with my besties. Have to go out for dinner. Smelly. Hadn't shower yet. It's weird, I've been doing nothing for the past week and now there's like a lot to do.

Trying tuitions next week. Kasturi. Spying. teehee!

ICECREAMNITE. yyum.

Last night there was ice cream nite for teens in church. The reason I knew was because it was on facebook as an event. Haha.

It was fun. Games and ice cream decorating. Only had 1 minute to decorate, rushed, sulked when people gave me sad faces(the point-giving system) for my ice cream.

Now, waiting for Mei Yen to come to my house. Going out to watch Alice in The Wonderland.

Last night, chatted with Mei Yen for 2 hours from abt 2 in the morning. A lot of stuff to talk. Didn't see each other for long since holiday.

And I miss school. Serious.

2007/08 Recollections :DDD (travelling)

Pics! From 3 years ago! Form 1 or Form 2.

Let me reminisce the old times :D Dug them from my computer. And also because I hadn't posted anything interesting lately. This thingy will have a few parts. This one is about travelling. Because it's holiday and most people are travelling.

This was somewhere in Macau. Went to Hong Kong as well but didn't take much photos there. Lots of casino. Nearly every hotel had one. I think I stayed at Wynn. Or not. Not sure if it's Wynn on this trip. My brother didn't come with us for the first time(this trip) because he was in US, and when we stayed at Wynn my brother was there, too. Can't remember, man. :(

The photos on the left in the first photo are taken on the waterfall. There, the water spouting in the pic above. Looks diff because it was at night. Nice hotel lah. Can see the watefall from the hotel window.

Macau is more for adults. Obviously rich adults because it's about gambling and shopping. Lots of designer shops inside the hotel.

Next stop, Thailand.

Took an elephant ride! Very high and rocky. One of the elephants stopped to take a dump. Went with my cousin. Spotted a pregnant monkey somewhere.

Went snorkelling for the first time. Pretty fun, but the fishies were harder to spot because the water wasn't so clear. I was very, very excited at that time. Lots of salty water got into my mouth.

Next stop, Italy and Austria!

I loved this one most. The architeture is very nice and romantic-ish. I could just imagine Romeo and Juliet there.

When the plane touched down, our luggages hadn't. Had to borrow clothes from our tour members. Damn cold.

Went to Mozart's house, in... in... Salzburg, Austria. Can't remember well. They sold these chocolate balls called Mozart Krugal. Ok, googled it, it's spelled Kugel. Nice chocolates. Bought a lot, lasted for the trip.

Rode in a horse carriage. At where the horses were resting it was... very smelly poo-poo.

Fed pigeons.

Another pic:

Clockwise from left:
I love that pic of my gramma feeding pigeons. So artistic!

The next one is an awkward pic of the leaning tower in Pisa. I didn't know how to pose.

And then the statue that looks like Adonis. What compelled me to take his pictures was his very boldly scuplted genitals. In Malaysia, you'll never see this sort of thing. But this is of course, Art.

Next is pic of my dad gorging on a drumstick. Hungry after all that travelling.

Okay. Boy. Long post. I AM VERY HAPPY AND GRATEFUL that I got to go to all these places. Thanks to daddy. But right now I am also very happy to just stay at home and reminisce.

I am not afraid to die, right now. But I'm more afraid of seeing other people close to me, die.

URM. THAT'S ALL!
