The 2011 Golden Globe Fashion Forecast

Who Will Dress This Year's Golden Globe Nominees?
The 2011 Golden Globes promises to be the best dressed yet. With stylish actresses like Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore, Anne Hathaway, and Lea Michelle up for an award, the world's top designers are likely clamoring for fashion credits. Here are some of our predictions:
According to A list glam...

Nicole Kidman, Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Drama Nominee

Kidman favors the minimalist aesthetic. Her longtime stylist L'Wren Scott will probably create something special or Kidman may choose something pretty from Prada.

Halle Berry, Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Drama Nominee

Elie Saab has long been Halle Berry's good luck charm. Saab is probably sketching already..

Anne Hathaway, Best actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy Nominee

Hathaway dazzles on the red carpet in glamorous gowns. This season Rachel Zoe will be busy finding her the perfect pieces. She has been promoting Love and other Drugs in Oscar de la Renta so he may be among the designers she is considering. Hathaway is also very loyal to Marchesa so whatever she chooses, the actress is sure to impress..

Angelina Jolie, Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Comedy Nominee

Jolie looks elegant in a sleek and sexy silhouette. Expect high slits from an Italian design house like Versace.

Julianne Moore, Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Comedy Nominee

Julianne Moore was the first to wear one of Tom Ford's eponymous womenswear creations so we suspect she will be the only actress he dresses come awards season.

Natalie Portman, Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Drama Nominee

Portman is the new face of Miss Dior Cherie perfume so it's likely she'll don one of John Galliano's designs. She may also opt for a unique Rodarte confection as the designers created most of her amazing Black Swan costumes.

Lea Michelle, Best Actress in a Television Series-Comedy or Musical Nominee
Michelle attended her first Golden Globes last year in Oscar de la Renta and was totally taken with the experience. We suspect she may want to wear Oscar de la Renta again or perhaps she will make a statement in a younger designer like Jason Wu.
